Tali Harel Even
Tali Harel Even is a Fine Art photographer.
She is now living and working in Emek Izrael.
Tali fell in love with photography when she was sixteen. She started out taking pictures with her Pentax camera, which were photographed in black and white film, which were then developed in the darkroom. This led to her interest in photography studies. When she was seventeen, she studied photography for one year at a high school in Vancouver, Canada. Her love of photography has accompanied her all of her life along with a passion for painting and writing.
Tali obtained her BA in Social Work from the University of Haifa, along with an MA in Creative Art Therapies, Couple and Family Therapy, and Group Therapy Facilitation.
She is also a graduate of The School of Screenwriting in Tel-Aviv and Photography Studies at the Technion, Haifa.
In 2019, Tali earned her Ph.D. on research titled "Personal Growth Through the Lens of the Camera in Adolescents." During her research, Tali developed an intervention model called the 'Photo Reflective Model'.
Today she's the Head of the Communication, Cinema, and Photography Department at the Reali High School in Haifa. She works as a Group Facilitator concerning photography, including its integration with dynamic group therapy.
Tali is a multidisciplinary artist, a painter, and a photographer.
Her work exemplifies the tension between sexuality in relation to
processes of growth and femininity. Through her works, Tali explores the creation of feminine identity.
